The assignment

Make the storefront feel like a working business.

Caribbean Wellness needed more than a product page. The customer experience, payment flow, pickup and delivery logic, inventory, production, and reporting all needed to work together.

I treated the build as a commerce product and an operations product at the same time: reduce friction for customers while giving the owner a clearer system behind the sale.

System scope

One commerce build, three connected layers.

01

Brand to transaction

Organized flavors, sizes, bundles, and customer-facing choices into a coherent path to payment.

02

Checkout and fulfillment

Connected secure Stripe checkout with local pickup, delivery logic, invoicing, and customer communication.

03

Back-office operations

Structured a mobile-ready register for sales, customers, inventory, production batches, expenses, and closeout.

04

Infrastructure

Used Cloudflare Pages Functions and D1 data patterns to support checkout, webhooks, and operational records.

05

Growth foundation

Created a foundation the business can build on as products, fulfillment volume, and relationships grow.

Delivered system

A connected commerce experience from storefront to closeout.

Transferable value

What this work demonstrates.

Commerce strategy

Connecting offer, customer journey, payment, and fulfillment into one system.

Product thinking

Designing for the owner and the customer, not just the front-facing screen.

Operational UX

Turning daily business activity into clearer records and repeatable workflows.

Technical delivery

Moving from architecture and integrations through testing, deployment, and stewardship.
